Equipment Pads

Purposefully Planned. Precisely Organized.

The Equipment May Be Outside. The Engineering Should Never Be an Afterthought.

An equipment pad is where many of the critical systems behind an aquatic environment come together.

Pumps. Filtration. Treatment. Heating & Cooling. Automation. Electrical. Valves. Manifolds. Chemical Systems.

How those components are positioned, connected, protected, and accessed can influence everything from hydraulic performance and operating efficiency to noise, maintenance, serviceability, and long-term ownership.

White Water treats the equipment pad as part of the aquatic system—not simply the place where the equipment happens to go.

Organized by Design. Engineered to Perform. Built to Be Serviced.

More Than a Place for Equipment

Design the Infrastructure Around the System.

Too often, equipment pads are addressed after the pool has already been designed.

Available space determines equipment placement. Plumbing is routed wherever it fits. Service clearances become secondary. Electrical infrastructure is added around the equipment rather than coordinated with it.

White Water takes a different approach.

When possible, we consider the equipment environment early—allowing the hydraulics, equipment, electrical requirements, access, drainage, ventilation, acoustics, and future service needs to be coordinated before construction limits the available options.

Plan It Before You Have To Work Around It.

Organization Isn't Just About Appearance

A Better-Organized System Is a Better-Understood System.

An intelligently planned equipment pad can make it easier to identify equipment, understand water flow, isolate individual systems, perform maintenance, diagnose problems, and replace components when necessary.

The objective isn't simply to make the equipment look organized.

Engineered Around
Everything That Matters

Equipment Layout. Equipment positioned around system requirements, logical flow, access, maintenance, and future replacement.

Hydraulic Routing. Purposeful pipe routing, manifolds, valves, suction and return circuits designed to support efficient water movement and understandable system operation.

Filtration & Treatment. Filters, sanitization, supplemental treatment, chemistry management, and related equipment coordinated as part of the complete water-quality strategy.

Heating & Cooling. Heaters, heat pumps, chillers, heat exchangers, and associated circulation requirements integrated around the project's thermal objectives.

Electrical & Controls. Power distribution, automation, sensors, communication, transformers, and system interfaces planned as part of the installation.

Drainage & Environmental Protection. Equipment pads considered around drainage, weather exposure, ventilation, water management, and appropriate equipment protection.

Noise Management. Equipment selection, placement, operating speeds, vibration, screening, and proximity to living spaces considered as part of the design.

Serviceability. Clearances, access paths, valves, unions, removable components, and replacement requirements considered before the equipment is installed.

The Objective Isn't Simply Organization.

It's a system that's easier to understand, operate, maintain, and service.

Designed For the Property

Performance Without Compromising the Environment.

Equipment pads don't exist independently of the property.

Their location can affect views, outdoor living areas, bedrooms, neighboring properties, landscape design, service access, and the overall experience of the home.

White Water considers both sides of the equation:

What the aquatic system requires—and what the property deserves.

Screening, architectural integration, landscaping, equipment placement, and acoustic considerations can help infrastructure perform without becoming the focus of the environment.

Designed Around
Ownership.

Designed For Today. Accessible For Tomorrow.

Eventually, every mechanical system requires attention.

Filters need service. Pumps may need repair. Sensors require inspection. Chemical systems need replenishment. Equipment will eventually be replaced.

That's why White Water doesn't design an equipment pad solely around installation day. View Our Design-Build Process.

Accessible. Understandable. Maintainable. Replaceable.

Designed to Disappear Behind the Experience

The Equipment Should Do Its Job Without Becoming Part Of The View.

The water should move.

The spa should heat.

The features should perform.

The controls should respond.

The equipment behind it should remain organized, accessible, and appropriately integrated into the property.

You Experience The Water. We Engineer Everything Behind It.

The White Water Approach

Every Component Has a Place. Every Connection Has a Purpose.

Equipment should not simply fit. It should belong within a thoughtfully engineered system.

Hydraulics. Filtration. Treatment. Thermal Systems. Controls. Electrical. Infrastructure.

Designed together.

One Environment. One Engineered System.
